The Tour de Fer range from Genesis are the bikes that were designed with exploring the world in mind. Built to carry expedition-ready loads smoothly and sedately wherever you choose to go.

That said, the Tour de Fer's are equally at home with the work commute or carrying all the provisions for a weekend picnic with friends and family. The Tour de Fer 10 Flat Bar is the more affordable version with a more upright position.

Without doubt there are faster, racier more exciting bikes out there but the Tour proudly claims to be none of these, delivering a solid, no-fuss, reliable ride day after day without complaining. 

Ready for action, equipped with durable, no-nonsense components that we know from personal experience are tour/expedition worthy and should last the sorts of high-mileages for which the bike was intended. The spec list should, by all accounts, read like a cyclo tourist’s wishlist; even going so far as to include front and rear racks, 16 speed Shimano gearing with super low gearing (46-30 front and 11-40 rear)!
